Dr Andi Diamond reappointed as Monash CEO to 2030
The City of Monash has reappointed Dr Andi Diamond as Chief Executive Officer through to 31 July 2030, with Mayor Stuart James citing strong community satisfaction results and organisational stability as the basis for the decision.
Dr Diamond was first appointed CEO in 2012 and previously served as Director of Community Services from 2000 to 2008. By the end of her new term she will have led the organisation as CEO for nearly two decades.
Mayor James highlighted Dr Diamond’s leadership through the COVID-19 pandemic as a particular demonstration of her capacity, noting that the council continued to deliver essential services while maintaining organisational performance under significant pressure.
“Her reappointment provides important continuity and stability, ensuring the organisation can continue to build on its strong culture, performance and reputation,” Cr James said.
